πββοΈ Historic Note
Banna Strand is where Irish revolutionary Roger Casement landed from a German submarine on Good Friday, 21 April 1916. His arrival was connected to an unsuccessful attempt to bring German arms into Ireland for the Easter Rising. Casement was arrested shortly afterwards near Banna Strand.
This scenic flight is planned to include views of the Killarney Lakes and the Gap of Dunloe. Access to the Killarney area is subject to clearance from Kerry Air Traffic Control. If access is restricted on the day, your pilot will operate an alternative scenic route showcasing the spectacular Kerry coastline and countryside.
