Adventure001 Ireland booking, aviation and experience terms.

Key Terms Summary

All purchases with Adventure001 are for monetary credit only, not a guaranteed flight or experience. Credit can be used towards available experiences. Prices may change and a top-up may be required. Credit is valid in line with Competition and Consumer Protection Commission guidance. Bookings are subject to availability, weather and operational requirements. Credit is non-refundable but transferable.

Refunds & Administration Fee

Reseller voucher refunds are considered after five postponements. Direct-sale voucher refunds are considered after three postponements and are subject to a 20% administration fee.

The fee contributes towards:

  • Processing and managing the voucher and refund
  • Customer accounts and booking systems
  • Payment-processing costs
  • Customer support and administration
  • Fire and first-aid staff training yearly
  • EASA-related audits and compliance costs real-time operation costs

Statutory rights are unaffected.

Credit-Based System

  • All purchases are issued as monetary credit.
  • Credit does not guarantee:
    • Flight, aircraft, route, location, date or time
    • Seat type or duration
  • Credit may be redeemed against available experiences at time of booking.
  • Adventure001 operates a dynamic pricing model. Prices may change over time. Where the selected experience exceeds available credit, the difference must be paid.
  • Credit is valid for 5 years from date of purchase.
  • Credit is transferable.
  • Credit is non-refundable except where required by law.

Dormant Voucher Policy

  • If a voucher has not been used, booked, extended, or reactivated for 24 months, it may be classed as dormant and automatically changed into a monetary credit voucher equal to the unused amount originally paid.
  • A 24-month period is considered a fair and reasonable usage timeframe.
  • This protects the customer's value over time, as experiences, locations, suppliers, pricing, and packages may reasonably change after a long period.
  • The monetary credit can then be used towards available products or experiences offered by Adventure001 at the time of booking.
  • The original unused monetary value is not lost or reduced.

Aviation Terms & Conditions

I. Flight Operations

  • All flight times, durations, distances and routes are approximate.
  • Flights are expected to depart within one hour of scheduled time.
  • Delays of up to two hours due to weather, aircraft serviceability or operational reasons are considered reasonable.
  • If delays exceed two hours, the experience may be postponed.
  • Adventure001 may adjust flight schedules, passenger allocation and seating for operational efficiency. Where a paid optional upgrade cannot be delivered, a refund for that upgrade will be provided.
  • Flight time is calculated from engine start to engine stop.
  • Flights may operate on any day of the week. Weekend dates are not guaranteed.

II. Availability, Weather & Operational Changes

  • Flights are subject to weather, aircraft serviceability, airspace restrictions, and operational requirements.
  • Flights may be delayed, altered or cancelled at short notice.
  • Adventure001 shall not be liable for indirect losses except where required by law.
  • If an experience changes or pricing has changed, any difference must be paid.
  • If a flight cannot proceed, credit remains valid.
  • Routes, aircraft and locations are not guaranteed.

III. Event Viability

  • Events may be postponed due to insufficient participants.
  • Shared flights may include other passengers.
  • Valid ID may be required.

IV. Age Restrictions

  • Minimum ages apply.
  • Children must be accompanied where required.

V. Weight & Safety Requirements

  • Strict weight limits apply.
  • Passengers must provide accurate weight.
  • Passengers may be weighed.
  • If limits exceeded, participation may be refused.
  • Safety decisions are final.

VI. Postponements & Credit Handling

  • If postponed, credit remains valid.
  • Repeated postponements may result in rebooking or refund where required by law.
  • Upgrades are non-refundable once scheduled.

VII. Refunds & Administration Fee

  • Reseller vouchers: Refunds will only be considered after five postponements by Adventure001. Customers may also need to contact the reseller from whom the voucher was purchased.
  • Direct-sale monetary vouchers: Refunds may be considered after three postponements by Adventure001. Approved refunds will be subject to a 20% administration fee.
  • This policy does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

VIII. Customer Responsibility

  • Customers must arrive on time and provide accurate information.
  • Failure to attend may result in booking being treated as used.

IX. Health & Fitness

  • Participants must be in suitable health and able to safely board and exit aircraft.

X. Behaviour & Safety

  • Zero tolerance policy applies.
  • Passengers may be refused for unsafe behaviour or substance use.

XI. Booking Changes & No-Shows

  • Changes require 7 days notice unless flexible booking applies.
  • No-shows may result in loss of booking.

XII. Credit Management

  • Customers must manage and use credit within validity.
  • Extensions may be offered at a fee.

XIII. Liability

  • Adventure001 is not liable except where negligent.

XIV. Personal Property & Photography

  • Items carried at own risk.
  • Restrictions may apply.
  • Photography may be used for promotion.

XV. Locations & Scheduling

  • Locations may change.
  • Preferred dates not guaranteed.

XVI. Fuel & Exceptional Costs

  • Surcharges may apply in exceptional circumstances.

XVII. Damage

  • Customers liable for damage caused.

XVIII. Event Status & Communication

  • Updates provided via account or email.

XIX. Donegal Summer Special

  • Donegal is a limited summer-special location that normally operates once per year. Dates, routes and availability are not guaranteed and remain subject to weather, aircraft availability and operational requirements. Vouchers remain as monetary credit and may be used towards available experiences at other Adventure001 locations.
